About
Breaking Boundaries
Breaking Boundaries serves women across the global sports landscape by sharing their transformative journeys through authentic, deep-dive storytelling. We use these narratives to explore how sports act as a mirror to society and a powerful tool for both personal and cultural empowerment.

About the founder
Anria Li
As a Taiwanese-Canadian high school student-athlete and an aspiring journalist, she has always loved sports. When she lived in Taiwan, she realized how few opportunities there were for girls to play, especially in soccer. This got her thinking about how often women in sports don’t get the recognition they deserve, which led to the creation of the podcast Breaking Boundaries.
Anria is passionate about creating unbiased channels of knowledge for young people. Her diverse cultural background and love for teaching shape her approach to connecting with others.
